Our rocket works by compressing air with a pump inside the bottle, so when you detach the bottle from the pump, it accelerates off the pump.
Our design effects the height and distance the rocket does because the details on the rocket can determine how far it goes. For example: in our revisions, we'll make the fins at the bottom of the rocket so it goes higher and goes further. Newtons laws are connected to the rocket because gravity takes place and holds it down as well as applied force.
