Aventure blog #2
For our teams rocket, we used 1 1/2 of 2 litter bottles, duct tape, and cardboard. In this project, it really surprised me how compressed air could shoot a rocket so high and far as well as with water. What I noticed was how for the building process, that the teams who really worked together and focused the entire time had the most efficient rockets and the ones that went the furthest. When we added the water component, it made it a lot easier to go further and faster vs just the air. We experimented a lot with the amount of water in our rocket and found that the less water works the best. our unit rate is 2.03. I think our rocket was fairly successful since some of the rockets didn't go up at all, but I would still want to experiment with the level of the water and adjust it until our rocket was considered successful.
